Mr. Wagner started his teaching career after graduating from the Crane school of music in 2014. His first job was in Phoenix, Arizona teaching behavior and music to K-8. He moved to Wilmington, Delaware teaching middle school orchestra, then moved to Greensboro, North Carolina teaching band. He finally moved to Pennsylvania in 2022 to teach in Coatesville. Across 11 schools he has mentored chess clubs, robotics teams, odyssey of the mind teams, musicals, marching band. Mr. Wagner has performed trombone and many other instruments with various community groups and pit orchestras throughout his career and has been recorded on multiple albums and also performing internationally. He is currently working on a Ph.D. in music education from Temple University with his research focusing on physical education in music ensembles.
