We are pleased to provide you with a brief review of the March 25, 2025, Coatesville Area School District School Board Meeting. This meeting highlighted exciting initiatives, important approvals, and well-deserved recognition across the district.
Meeting Highlights:
✅ Spotlight on East Fallowfield PBIS Program
Principal Melissa Willis and her PBIS team presented an engaging overview of East Fallowfield Elementary’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. Their presentation highlighted various events and activities that recognize and celebrate students and staff for their positive contributions to the school community.
✅ Board Approvals:
New Student Classroom Furniture: The Board approved the purchase of modernized student furniture for the upcoming additions at Reeceville Elementary and North Brandywine Middle School, ensuring comfortable and engaging learning environments.
Honoring CASD Retirees: The Board proudly recognized the dedication and service of four outstanding educators and staff members who will be retiring at the end of the school year:
Dr. Eugenia Roberts – Principal, North Brandywine Middle School
Mrs. Karen Smith – Math Specialist, Middle Schools
Mr. Thomas Nichols – Physical Education Teacher, North Brandywine Middle School
Ms. Cassandra Holmes – Classroom Aide, CASH
Playground Enhancement Donation: The Board accepted a generous donation of power washing services at King’s Highway Elementary School to prepare the blacktop areas for the painting of interactive games, which will engage students in fun, hands-on learning activities during recess.
