The Coatesville Area School District Police Department ("CASDPD") is a school-based Law Enforcement agency. School police are full-time sworn officers with full law enforcement capabilities. School police receive special training by the National Association of School Resource Officers (“NASRO”). School police serve three major roles, law enforcement, mentor/counselor, and educator. The primary role is to maintain order and security on school grounds, buses, and provide a positive learning environment. School police engage with students, teachers, staff, and the community to foster school-police partnerships.
